FisioAVC is an academic research initiative dedicated to advancing evidence-based stroke rehabilitation through digital health, remote functional assessment, and innovative intervention strategies. The platform serves as both a clinical resource and a research environment for developing, validating, and implementing new approaches to telerehabilitation.


Our Research Areas

Remote Functional Assessment

Development and validation of standardized methods for remote clinical assessment, including digital versions of functional outcome measures and implementation strategies for telerehabilitation.


Digital Rehabilitation

Development and evaluation of MOVA-CIT, a digital intervention framework integrating evidence-based rehabilitation protocols with telehealth technologies to improve access to intensive stroke rehabilitation.


Quantitative Movement Analysis

Development and validation of accessible technologies for remote movement analysis, including computer vision and markerless motion capture, to complement conventional clinical assessment.


Implementation Science

Investigation of barriers and facilitators for integrating telerehabilitation into routine clinical practice, with emphasis on implementation frameworks, professional education, and healthcare system adoption.
